The recommended minimum weight for a dispatch is 100 kg., because that is the minimum freight charge. This corresponds approximately to 3 to 4 Full Boxes, depending on the type of flower, the supplier, the length chosen, size of the box, etc.

It is possible to dispatch less than 100 kg., but the average costs will be higher because the freight and the expenses of the freight forwarding agency will not vary. However, depending on the carrier and on the negotiations with other importers, consolidated packages of flowers can be arranged by opening the Air Waybill.

The packages of flower will vary depending on:

1. Size of boxes: each provider has a specific box size, hence why the quantity of stems varies depending on the plantation.
2. Type of flower and variety: each type of flower and variety has a different size and, therefore, the quantity of flowers that fits in a box will vary.
3. The length chosen: The shorter the length of flowers, the higher number of stems that will fit in the box.
4. Destination market: Each country has a different cut point. Often, closed cut points allow us to place an additional bunch per box.

Normally, each bunch is packed with 25 stems; exceptionally with 20, 16 or even 12 stems.
